All of Virginia Beach City Public Schools' (VBCPS) 82 testing sites are projected to earn state accreditation again for 2023-2024, following today's release of Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) Standards of Learning (SOL) test scores and school quality indicators data.
School Counseling
The School Counseling Department can provide resources to help students navigate high school and begin their journey to post graduate plans for college, military, or the workforce. School Counselors are available to assist students’ academic, social and emotional, and academic needs. The current contact information for each counselor and their related duties are below.
VBCPS Counseling Mission
The mission of the Virginia Beach City Public Schools High/Middle/Elementary School Counseling Program is to partner with parents, community, faculty and staff to provide a comprehensive, developmental counseling program addressing the academic, career, and personal/social development of all students thus preparing them with the knowledge and skills to be productive members of society.
